Conflict Resolution

To resolve a conflict with other business owner, please, take the following steps:

  1. Attempt to resolve the issue by contacting the party you are disagreeing. If they listen to you and both of you are able to reach an understanding and mutual acceptance, then the conflict has been resolved.
  2. If your attempt to settle the matter did not work out, then report the matter to the PE conflict resolution team. Both of you will be invited and there will be an effective mediation in order to resolve the matter.
  3. After reporting the matter, you will be taken to the conflict resolution centre where a conflict resolution team member will be mediating between the two of you. You will join the centre and the second party with whom the conflict is ensuing will be invited as well.
  4. The process of mediation will commence as you will state your case and the accused will be given the opportunity to respond. Both of you will provide available pieces of evidence.
  5. The resolution officer, after given fair hearing to both party will make a ruling. In case the available pieces of evidence were not sufficient to make reasonable conclusion and judgement, the parties will be asked to provide such pieces of evidence.
  6. The ruling of the mediating resolution officer will be final.
  7. There is room for appeal. With new pieces of evidence, a party can appeal the judgement.
